With Mother's Day only a week away, the art of giving has been playing on my mind.
I have always loved giving gifts - the whole process from start to finish has always been something I enjoyed. There's no better feeling than finding something thoughtful and seeing how the person lights up when they see what it is, or to see them enjoy it or use it time and time again.
As my journey as a mum-to-be progresses I'm quickly realising how many fantastic people are in my support crew; people who endure my ridiculousness, and offers unconditional and ongoing support.
Nothing beats the feeling of being able to give something back to these people who offer me so much.
I'll admit there has been a few occasions where, as much as it kills me to say, I've given a generic gift. As much as people say "it's the thought that counts" a nice, curated gift never hurt.
So with that, you all have a week to find something fantastic for mum (if you haven't already, that is).
