in surry hills.

Red and black is my favourite colour combination and has been since my teenage years. But since then I have traded in my black and red stripped socks and arm warmers for a more interesting method of wearing black and red. I love this red dress because the material is so nice and thick I can easily wear it through the Australian autumn/winter days without freezing too much.

The blue heart necklace is part of my first memories of fashion and by that I mean sneakily going through all of my mother's jewellery as a kid. Somehow I managed to claim ownership over it. I remember wearing this all the time as a kid when I played dress up with my mother's wardrobe. I'm so glad I get to keep hold of this now because every time I wear it it reminds me of all those fun times going through my mother's wardrobe and jewellery box.

Do you own a piece that let you reminisce like that?

  2. Love this version of red and black together! I really like your fun red stripey socks too! How funny I'm wearing red and black today too!
