I started dancing when I was 3 years old. My dream of being a ballerina was quashed at the ripe age of 8 when my mother decided that I had far too much school work to balance in dancing. Ten years later I decided to reignite my passion for ballet. Two years on a soccer injury has completely disolved my dreams of ever dancing again.
This is the story of my broken dreams of being a ballerina.
But dreams and aspirations can be forever cherished in a photograph and this photo shoot (my first properly semi-planned shoot) was to reignite my dreams, even if just for a day. With my Mojomade for Azuki Picket bodysuit and ballet flats on and a splash of red I was ready to dream big again.
This photo shoot was done on my balcony, least to say I was getting some weird looks from passer-bys. Not to mention the multitude of times I was certain I would roll over the side, I'm accident prone. But alas the shoot was done in the soft Sunday morning light before the rain returned to Sydney.
